You should be receiving your ballots to vote on the proposed MOU in the mail soon! Check your snail mail for a large white envelope from AFSCME that is marked "Ratification of Tentative Agreement."
Ballots and voting instructions are being mailed to our members’ homes this week. If you have not received your ballot by May 6, contact Joniesha at AFSCME District Council 36: [email protected], to request a replacement. IMPORTANT: Votes count only if signed and submitted by an AFSCME member in good standing, meaning you must have a signed union membership card on file. If you are unsure of your membership status, please contact Guild Membership Chair Oscar Giurcovich ([email protected]) ASAP to confirm. All votes must be received back at AFSCME no later than May 16 @ 5pm.Ballots will be counted at AFSCME, 514 Shatto Place, Los Angeles, California 90020 after 5pm on May 16. Members wanting to observe the count are welcome.
