March for Our Lives: 3/24, 9 am, Pershing Square https://marchforourlives.com/ More info: On March 24, the kids and families of March For Our Lives will take to the streets of Washington DC to demand that their lives and safety become a priority and that we end gun violence and mass shootings in our schools today. Over 800 sister marches across the world are planned in support, including in Los Angeles. March for Science: 4/14, 9 am, Pershing Square https://www.marchforscience.com/ https://www.facebook.com/marchforscienceLA/ More info: The March for Science champions robustly funded and publicly communicated science as a pillar of human freedom and prosperity. We unite as a diverse, nonpartisan group to call for science that upholds the common good, and for political leaders and policymakers to enact evidence-based policies in the public interest. So far, more than 175 satellite marches are registered worldwide.
