The Librarians' Guild hosts a number of events throughout the month. Here are some of the types of events we hold regularly:
Membership Meetings: All members welcome to our monthly membership meetings, including our retirees, substitute librarians, and library school attendees and graduates. In-person evening meetings serve dinner at 6:30 pm, followed by a meeting at 7:30 pm. Zoom evening meetings feature a social time starting at 7:00pm, followed by a meeting at 7:00pm. Sunday Meetings are brunches and usually begin at 10:30 am. Only Librarians' Guild Members vote on motions. All membership meetings include a special program aimed at professional or personal development for our members.
Executive Board Meetings: In person meetings provide dinner at 6:30 pm. Meeting starts at 7:15 pm. All members welcome, but only Executive Board Officers vote on motions. RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Professional Concerns Brunches: Brunches take place monthly, with locations varying around the city. These are a space for members to discuss any workplace or library concerns or issues that you're having in a more casual context. RSVPs are very necessary: PROFCON.LG2626@GMAIL.COM
