Executive Board 2011 – Unfilled Positions
The following positions remain unfilled and according to the Guild’s Constitution may be filled by a Board appointment. Should any member be interested in serving on the Board for 2011 in one of these positions, please contact the Guild at [email protected].
Vice President, Programs
Plans and organizes the monthly general membership meetings held at the AFSCME Council 36 office including:
• arranging for speakers, ordering food, providing soft drinks and dessert
(paid by the Guild) etc. with input and assistance from the Executive Board
• maintaining supplies, of paper goods, drinks and dessert stored in the
Guild’s office on the 2nd Floor of headquarters
• collecting recyclables
• coordinating the set-up and clean-up of the meeting room.

Handles grievances on the local level; reports to the Chief Supervisory Steward on issues and situations

Guild Organizers
The Guild has hired two part-time organizers, Natasha Ang and Ben Fuller-Googins. Natasha and Ben will be making calls, visiting libraries to speak with staff to find out how the Guild and the members can improve communications, and to garner support for the library’s City Charter amendment on the March ballot. Please welcome our organizers and offer them the support they need to ensure the charter amendment passes.
